Image: Grizzly Creek Retreat Campaign

The first project to showcase is another robust campaign of designs. Grizzly Creek Ranch & Retreat is an amazing working ranch in southern Montana that fosters a sense of awe and reverence for nature. This ranch is located just north of Yellowstone National Park and is part of the greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The owners of GCRR want to share the magic of this place with small and medium groups that need a place to retreat from the fast lane of normal life. The property is used for corporate retreats, team building, non-profit retreats, family reunions, nature conservancy, stewardship, among many other things. Insights Design was contracted to create an entire campaign, including logo design, web site design, a full set of stationery including envelopes, letterhead, and business cards, as well as a folded property map brochure. If you visit the web site, I think you'll see what the place is all about.

Image: Blue Planet BrochureNext up is another project that falls in line with my personal goal of getting behind socially responsible companies by helping them deliver their products and messages to the world. Blue Planet Recycled Eyewear is a company that is now using recycled plastics and metals to create sunglasses. They use primarily recycled materials for their line of sunglasses and reading glasses, and they also use recycled eco-friendly packaging and hang tags for all their products as well. I feel that this is precisely the kind of mind set business should be creating. If everyone takes a couple of small steps toward helping the planet in their daily business, then this world can benefit exponentially.

Insights Design was contracted to photograph the product line, and create this folded sales brochure. The products were photographed both in studio and on models, all on a short time frame. There is a lot that can be done with Insights digital photography and design services on a relatively limited budget...

Image: Bamboo DNA poster

Insights Design recently got involved in design and collaboration with a green building company called Bamboo DNA. The project was a large scale "Starscraper", an 80 foot tall bamboo installation erected on site at the world famous Coachella Music Festival in April of 2009. Insights owner Gabe Nordyke contributed time on the production crew as well as graphic design for the info panels describing the project. See the Bamboo DNA web site for more info, or click on the panel design to learn more.

Stay tuned, more fun projects are on the way;-) If you don't want to receive my updater emails, just hit reply and ask for removal from the list of associates I keep updated.

Sincerely,
Gabriel Nordyke
